Do natural moisturisers really work?

September 7, 2018

The high street is full of moisturisers, cleansers, balms and lotions that promise to keep the skin looking healthy, refreshed and young. Some contain lots of funny-sounding ingredients that are difficult to pronounce. The question is, do we really need all those hidden possibly harsh on the skin ingredients? Are natural moisturisers, like Shea Butter, Olive Oil and Cocoa Butter, just as good?

We've made it our mission to create only natural skincare products formulated with natural and organic, ethically sourced ingredients because we believe that they naturally work with the skin and are kinder to the skin. Some additives can exacerbate sensitivities and make skin conditions worse. Although they may offer temporary relief, many of them aren't suitable for long-term use particularly on baby skin.

Gorgeously rich and velvety thick against the skin, Shea Butter is the main ingredient in almost all of our products. Derived from the nut of the African Karite tree, this natural moisturiser is perfect for hydrating the skin and hair, soothing chapped lips, healing cracked feet and softening the elbows and hands.

Used for generations as a luxurious moisturiser, Shea Butter is also ideal for treating skin problems ranging from eczema and allergies to insect bites, sunburn and even wrinkles. It's also great for babies and can double up as a nappy balm!

Your body needs to last you a lifetime -- doesn't it make sense to use skincare products that you can trust?
