How to prevent pregnancy stretch marks on the breasts

Lots of mums-to-be worry about developing stretch marks over their tummies. But did you know that it’s very common to get stretch marks over the breasts too?

During pregnancy your body produces a hormone that softens the fibres in your skin making you more susceptible to developing stretch marks. Your breasts are likely to grow when you’re expecting, particularly towards the final trimester of your pregnancy and after the birth if you choose to breastfeed.

Your breasts will grow at speed as your milk ducts expand and your milk production rises. In fact many women experience going up a couple of bra sizes when they’re breastfeeding.
