How to fit daily moisturising into your routine

March 29, 2016

It can be a challenge to find the time to do anything for yourself when you’re caring for young children all day. However, investing in your health is an investment for your future and in turn your children’s future. Caring for your body by moisturising daily helps to soften, soothe and protect the skin as well as reduce lines and wrinkles. But how can you fit it in when even a solo trip to the bathroom is a challenge?

  • Choose moisturisers that are absorbed quickly. Our moisturisers are formulated to be absorbed at speed and they don’t leave an oily residue behind on the skin. Choose a light lotion if your skin type is normal, go for a thicker-textured balm if you have dry skin or opt for a richer oil if you want to reduce stretch marks. Because these products are absorbed at speed you can put your clothes back on quickly without wasting time waiting for your skin to feel touch dry.
  • Use your time wisely. Try adding a few drops of ‘Me Time’ Body Oil into your bath so that you can cleanse and moisturise your skin while you relax in the tub. The organic Baobab and Shea Butter oils encourage skin rejuvenation and improve the skin tone and elasticity.
  • Swap things around. Instead of moisturising in the morning when the kids are up why not try doing it in the evening after they’ve gone to bed? In fact, applying a rich moisturiser just before bed will give your body plenty of time to soak up all the benefits of the skin-condition nutrients in our products, such as Vitamin E, nourishing Omega oils and soothing Cocoa Butter.
